Matt was a college student torn down from his dream of pursuing to be neurosurgeon. Enrolled in a college medical program, he was diagnosed with Oligodendroglioma just 6 months after turning 21. His dreams we're shattered by the very form of cancer he wished to one day treat in others. However, he took the bull by the horns with support of his family and friends and started the fight of his life when he had to travel to San Francisco to receive treatment. When the medical experts were done he still had cancer as it was deemed too dangerous to remove more of the tumor. Not Giving up, he volunteered himself for a 2 year chemotherapy clinical research trial. This led to his decision to assist others by engineering this foundation for young adults over the age of 18.
To help give them more then just hope, but determination to fight for positive outcomes.
